This post contains spoilers Until the end of season 2 of “The Mandalorian” and the end of “The Book of Boba Fett.”
Din Darin aka The Mandalorian and his little green friend Grogu are back in the trailer for “The Mandalorian” season 3. Of all the Star Wars Disney+ offerings, if you only watch this show, you’ll probably remember the season finale. 2 is where a young Luke Skywalker offers to train the Force-sensitive Grogu in Jedi ways. This means he must leave Din, showing Grogu his unmasked face in a gesture of love. This is a big no-no in the particular part of Mandalorian culture to which Religion belongs, and it means that a big story in season 3 will atone for the violation of Religion.
However, if you haven’t watched “The Book of Boba Fett,” you’re missing out on much of what happened next. In the last few chapters (which I always refer to as “)The Mandalorian” season 2.5), we revisit Din and see him meeting his incredibly cute little Grogu. The little man was given the choice between getting Jedi training or returning to his father, and he chose Baba! Before you watch the new trailer below, give yourself a minute to smell it.

In a July 2022 interview with Total MoviesIn , Pascal gave the audience a clue as to what was going to happen to Din Djarin. he says:
“If he’s stepping into a leadership position, he’s reluctant to do so. I don’t think there’s anything more interesting than when a character is forced to discover what he’s capable of and who he is.”
Jon Favreau created the series. It is produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Rick Famuyiwa.
