It’s not entirely unlikely in the Marvel world that characters will come back from the dead, after all. the whole plot of the “Avengers: Endgame.” Because there is no “Deadpool 2” technically Shatterstar’s return with “Deadpool 3”, which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could be the beginning of how characters will be included in the MCU. The appearance of Wolverine is already a start. Including “X-Men” characters After Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Studios, it wouldn’t be impossible for one of his mutant friends to use his powers to bring him back. Deadpool used Cable’s time travel device in “Deadpool 2” to avoid some deaths, and while we haven’t really seen Shatterstar come to life, there’s a Ryan Reynolds monologue about “off-screen events” waiting to happen.
Given the MCU’s current obsession with the multiverse, there is always a chance that “Deadpool 3” will take place in a separate multiverse from “Deadpool 2”; this would be a pretty easy permit for Shatterstar survival and the crossing paths of Deadpool and Wolverine. Or maybe his claim that he was an alien from the planet Mojoworld and superior to “normal” humans in every way was true, and an alien… magic… or something that could bring him back together. Regardless of how they managed, neither Marvel nor 20th Century Studios have confirmed its appearance, so we’ll have to keep deciphering the tweets until the movie comes out in 2024.
